Packaging design for the small dairy brand Den blinde Ku (the Blind Cow). When the products were to be placed in store shelves as well as in the fresh cheese department, they met som challanges with the existing packaging. They were impossible to stack and had no facing. The solution was to put the cheese in boxes, but to die-cut holes so the consumer could examine the hardness of the product.
These are hand made gourmet cheeses and quite unique. The design should emphazise the identity of each cheese. Hence, every cheese got its own visualized product name inspired by the meaning of the name. The design is hand drawn to communicate the hand made quality of the products. (2009)
